RMC is one of the largest private healthcare investments in Africa, with over $130 million allocated for its first phase, which includes the Advanced Multispecialty Hospital.

RMC is looking for a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Finance and Strategy team. This role provides hands-on experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, investment analysis, and strategic planning for a large-scale healthcare project. The successful candidate will support financial decision-making and business planning while working closely with senior leadership

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans to support decision-making.

• Develop financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial analysis to inform business strategy.

• Identify and analyze potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

• Prepare and participate in interim evaluations and go/no-go decisions.

• Support discussions with potential investors and strategic partners.

• Take on other related tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure the overall success of the project

Location: This role is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Timing: May 2025

Job Requirement

As the ideal candidate, you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to bring structure to complex problems. You are adaptable, detail-oriented, and curious to learn in a dynamic environment. You demonstrate initiative and a strong work ethic, effectively managing multiple tasks and contributing to complex projects. Additionally, you excel in stakeholder management and can clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences:

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or another analytical discipline.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate finance, financial analysis and reporting, management consulting, strategy, private equity, or related roles.

• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.

• Familiarity with analyzing financial statements (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet).

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver high-quality work.

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

• Experience with PowerPoint, Power BI, or data visualization tools is a plus.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is a plus.

• Prior experience in healthcare or infrastructure projects is an advantage.

• Must be based in Ethiopia with relevant work experience.
