Job Description

DROGA PHARMA PLC is an importer, distributor, and commission agent for pharmaceuticals and healthcare products in the territory of Ethiopia. 

Our Company was established in April 2015 with two staff. Currently, we have a total of 400+ employees with different professional backgrounds and work Experience. And now, Droga Pharma PLC, as a business unit, is establishing a chain of pharmacies all over Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure best practices in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

  • Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes and ensure the plan is accurate and practical.

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Ensure that inventory transactions are recorded accurately in the financial system.

  • Provide detailed cost analysis and evaluate product profitability.

  • Ensures that financial data is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Analyze trends, financial data, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide insights and recommendations on financial performance improvement areas.

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of financial statements and disclosures to the management and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure the company’s financial plans and forecasts align with strategic business objectives.

  • Financial Business Partner to other departments of the group.

  • Continuously improve the financial planning, reporting, and analysis processes.

  • Build a high-performance culture within the financial planning, analysis, and reporting team.

  • Employee performance appraisal.

Job Requirements

  • B.A Degree / MSc in Accounting and Finance from a recognised university

  • Min. 10 yr. for B.A degree and 8 for MSc with Min. 5  years a Manager Position. 

  • Having experience in FMCG multinational company is advantageous.
