Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Weight each truck entering and leaving the plant and records the information in the appropriate logbooks.

  • Manage the flow of trucks at the reception and assign the truck driver to the correct intake area and monitor unloading.

  • Manage the daily labors to have speedy unloading operations and ensure safe working conditions;

  • Performs the reception of bulk barley in the appropriate barley silo.

  • Ensure the proper tracking of each reception.

  • Ensure the total absence of insect in the barley.

  • Alerts the Silo Deputy in case of deviation.

  • Manage the flow of trucks for the expedition of products (malt, by-products) and assign the truck driver to the correct expedition area and monitor correct loading.

  • Perform the expedition of the by-products.

  • Performing reception, distribution & billing on SAP

  • Perform the expedition of malt in bulk, based on the customers’ requirements.

  • Perform the invoicing of malt and by-products:

    - identification of customer/ product/applied price

    - identification of method of payment: cash or credit payment

    - Weighing of the product

             - Issuing of both attachment and invoice to be signed by the drivers

             - Carefully following up the different changes like price change or new customers according to           

                information given by finance and commercial administration department and updating the database

                information accordingly (Name, TIN number, adress..)

  • Manage the daily labors to have speedy loading operations and ensure safe working conditions; Ensure the proper tracking of each expedition.

  • Identify and signal any deviation to the Maintenance Department.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in applied chemistry,  applied biology,  Microbiology, Food science & post-harvest technology, food process engineering, food science technology, food science & Nutrition or other related field.

Experience:  At least 1 year of experience
