The Construction Department Head is responsible for overseeing all construction projects within the organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and coordination with various stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Working Conditions

•  Office environment with regular site visits to construction locations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the construction team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

•  Project Oversight: Oversee multiple construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-control measures.

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans for future projects and departmental growth 

• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns.

• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure all work meets the organization's standards and specifications.

• Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project timelines and costs.

• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project continuity.

•  Training and Development: Mentor and train team members, promoting professional growth and skill development.
