Kegna Beverages Share Company is the company which is under formation and working hard to engross in the Beverage Industry of Ethiopia that is incredibly untapped yet and fast growing.

The Company, officially endorsed on 04 March 2017 by the recommendation and promoter Committee selection of the Public Private Partnership Council of the Oromia Regional State. The promoter committee has been in contact since then frequently on the formal establishment of Kegna Beverages and on fulfilling local legal requirements of company formation, finalizing multiple discipline viability tests and studies and ground preparation for the official launching and foreign direct investment search, and approaches.

Kegna Beverages Share Company officially launched on 01 April 2017 at the Oromo Cultural Center at the Presence of higher Oromia Regional State Officials, Bank Representatives, Local Investors, invited Foreign Investors, Invited guests and Medias. The multiple studies which are mostly finalized as of now (Feasibility Study, Civil and Construction works assessment, Geotechnical, hydrology and topography analysis) on the primarily selected site of the production are finalized and ready to show the picture of the investment as of now.

Role Description

Plumber & Sanitary worker is responsible to install, maintain and repair sanitation units, water and gas supply lines, heating systems, and associated fixtures and appliances in residential, compound, and industrial structures. He/ She is responsible to be required to design and inspect plumbing systems, perform diagnostics, and ensure they comply with regulatory codes. Responsible to perform maintenance of office furniture, door, window and other infrastructure, including 5S painting, require to install and maintain greener water line.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts.

• Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.

• Fitting and repairing various domestic appliances.

• Cutting, welding and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.

• Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.

• Handling brewery queries and responding to call outs.

• Troubleshooting and resolving problems, Preparing cost estimates.

• Installing and maintenance of greener water line in the brewery

• Reading blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems

• Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)

• Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)

• Repair and replace system issues such as clogged drains, faucet problems, broken drainage lines and so on

• Repair domestic appliances (e.g. washing machines) and fixtures (e.g. sinks) etc.

• Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning, using different testing method.

• Assemble valves, fittings, tubes and water system appliances

• Preform 5S painting activities across the brewery

• Preform other task as assigned by line supervisor.

Job Requirements

Education

• Diploma/ Advance diploma/BSC. from Technical School in Plumbing, Sanitation or related field

Experience

Minimum 3+ years of experience as a plumber & sanitary work

Skills

• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, compound and industrial buildings

•  Valid plumbing certificate.

•  Good working knowledge of water supply and air systems.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using plumbing tools.

•  Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.

• Good listening and communication skills.

•  Good interpersonal skills and patience.

•  Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)

• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
