Duties & Responsibilities:

• Developing meal plans that cater to the nutritional needs of patients undergoing orthopedic surgery, including considerations for protein intake, calcium, and vitamin D to support bone health and recovery

• Preparing meals that are not only nutritious but also appealing in taste and presentation, while adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards.

• Managing kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels of fresh ingredients to ensure high-quality meal preparation

• Training kitchen staff on food safety practices, portion control, and proper cooking techniques to maintain a high standard of food preparation

• Engaging with patients to gather feedback on meals and making adjustments as necessary to improve their dining experience during their stay

• Ensuring compliance with health department regulations and standards specific to health care food service, including sanitation and food handling practices.

• Commitment to patient-centered care, quality, and safety.

• Flexibility to work variable hours and participate in on-call duties as needed.

• Proven track record of effectively leading and managing teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Job Requirements:

• Education: The ideal candidate should have a certificate in Food Preparation

• Experience: 5 years of experience and above in Food preparation position, out of which Ma minimum of 1 year of experience as a Hospital chief and a related position.
