Job Description
Job Title: Executive Director
• Position overview: OPRIFS is looking for a highly motivated and capable female professional to fill the position of Executive Director (ED) at its head office in Addis Ababa. The ED will manager all activities of the organization and be responsible for ensuring the Board of Directors and its members fulfill their governance responsibilities in accordance with applicable lows and bylaws.

1. leadership and management:
• Ensure the ongoing excellence of local programs including program Evolution, and consistent quality of Finance and administration, fundraising, communications, and systems;
• Recommend timeline and resources needed to achieve the Strategic goals.
• Engaged and energize OPRIFS' volunteers, board members, partnering organization, and funders;
• Lead, coach, develop and develop the senior management team.
• Ensure effective systems are in place to track progress and regularly evaluate program components,
• Report on program successes to the Bared funders and other stakeholders
• Propose policies and practices, and monitor the performance of directors and managers
• retain OPRIFS's senior management team Ensure effective systems to track scaling progress, and regularly evaluate program components, so as to measure successes that can be effectively communicated to the board, funders, and other constituents.
2. Fundraising and Communications:
• Expand local revenue generating and fundraising activities to support the existing program operations and regional expansion;
• Develop Strategies to retire existing debts
• Refine all aspects of communications- including web presence and external relations with the aim of creating stronger good will for the organization
3. Board Governance and stakeholders Relation:
• Facilitating board meeting efficiently and effectively submit various reports to the board, funder and stakeholders.
• Propose the creation of committees and appoints members as necessary
• Ensure accountability to relevant government bureaus
• Master's degree in a relevant field such as Nonprofit management. Sociology social work public administration, Business Administration or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of experiences working in a non -governmental organization (NGO)
• Experience in developing and managing budgets, financial reporting and donor relation
• Strong understanding of local and international regulations impacting non-profits.
• Experience in advocacy and public relations efforts
• Extensive experience in program management, fundraising and communicating within a non-profit context.
• Ability to engage and inspire various stakeholders, including staff, volunteers board members, and funders.
• Proven track record in developing and scaling programs.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and strategic thinking abilities
