Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the MIS Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the Management Information Systems (MIS) to support data-driven decision-making. The primary focus will be on ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of data while providing analytical support to the Sales and Distribution Business Unit.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The following are the key accountabilities:

1. Data Management:

   • Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources to provide actionable insights.

   • Implement data management strategies to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

   • Maintain and update MIS databases, ensuring data is current and reliable.

2. Reporting and Analysis:

   • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support business operations and decision-making.

   • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable recommendations based on findings.

   • Present data and insights to management in a clear and concise manner.

   • Provide regular reports and insights to various S&D stakeholders.

   • Work with/support the regional sales team in analyzing data from trade and other sources to build actionable trade insights.

3. Development and Maintenance of Reporting Tools:

   • Collaborate with IT and other departments to develop and enhance MIS systems and tools.

   • Ensure the MIS systems are aligned with business needs and are user-friendly.

   • Promptly liaise with IT to resolve any system-related issues impacting report delivery or data integrity.

4. User Support and Training:

   • Provide training and support to the sales team on MIS systems and tools.

   • Develop user manuals and guidelines to facilitate effective use of MIS resources.

   • Assist the sales team in understanding and interpreting data and reports to pick the right insights.

5. Compliance and Security:

   • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.

   • Implement security measures to protect data from unauthorized access and breaches.

6. Continuous Improvement:

   • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in MIS and data management.

   • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.

   • Proactively suggest and implement improvements to enhance data management and reporting.

  • 3 years of experience in MIS, data management, or a related role.

  • Optional: Professional certification in MIS, data analysis, or a related field (desired).
