Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Audit and balance all hotel financial transactions, including room charges, food and beverage revenue, and other guest services.
Prepare and complete daily financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Reconcile guest accounts and accurately post room charges and payments.
Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and inquiries during overnight shifts.
Maintain effective communication with all departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.
Monitor and address any discrepancies or irregularities found during audits.
Prepare end-of-day summaries for management review.
Process credit card transactions and ensure secure handling of financial data.
Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, addressing any concerns or requests efficiently.
Maintain a secure and welcoming environment during nighttime operations.
Assist with front desk operations as needed.
Prepare for the next day’s operations by organizing guest arrivals and other pertinent information.
Working Conditions:
Requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
Job Requirements
Diploma or BA in Hotel management, accounting and finance.
Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and hotel management software.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word) and property management systems IDS,CENT.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
