Job Summary
The Marketing and Customer Service Officer plays a dual role in enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting marketing efforts. This position involves front desk reception, client interaction, phone support, and marketing outreach, ensuring excellent service delivery and efficient client engagement.
Customer Service & Front Desk Operations
Welcome and assist clients at the reception, ensuring professional and friendly experience.
Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and effective manner.
Handle phone calls, provide accurate information, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Marketing & Sales Support
Respond to leads generated from social media advertisements and guide potential customers through service options.
Clearly communicate travel service offerings and promotions to prospective clients.
Assist in developing and executing customer engagement strategies to increase bookings.
Administrative & Coordination Tasks
Maintain client records and ensure timely follow-ups for inquiries and service updates.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless travel booking and coordination.
Stay updated on industry trends and provide insights to improve customer engagement strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Tourism & Hospitality, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or marketing (preferably in the travel or hospitality industry).
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask and handle inquiries professionally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools.
Knowledge of travel booking systems is a plus.
Language: Proficiency in English and Amharic (additional languages are a plus).
