Job Description

Ethics Officer will be responsible for ensuring the Bank’s control policies and procedures serve for Ethics and avoiding or minimizing improprieties, allegation, complaints, and conflict of interest. S/He is responsible to analyze and identify incidents or cases from internal and external audit reports that may lead to corruption and improprieties and recommend for possible solution. The job holder is also responsible to conduct research under the supervision of Senior Ethics Manager to identify gaps on bank’s policy and procedure which may cause for improprieties.

Job Requirements

Academic and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, management, Economics, Law, Business Administration, or related fields. 

Experience

  • At least Four (4) years relevant experience 

Technical Competencies

  • Excellent analytical skill and ability to interpret rules and guidelines, and ability to conceptualize policies.

  • Ability to demonstrate sound and independent judgement, prudence and maturity in complex and sensitive cases.

  • Ability to work with utmost discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.

  • Better understanding of proclamation, policies, procedures issued by international and national related to ethics, corruption and improprieties.

  • Commercial awareness to understand and apply commercial and financial principles to business thinking."
