Reporting to  : General Service Officer

Job Summary/Main Purpose:  Purchase ingredients and spices as needed, Prepares food for employees and Supervise other employees in the kitchen.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the General Service officer, Chief chef/cooker shall carry out the following duties:

• Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy

• Prepares foods to the specifications of the company

• Manages other employees in the kitchen

• Acts as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service is perform properly

• Purchase ingredients and spices as needed

• Keeps records and accounts of food purchases

• Operates various kitchen appliance such as a blender, oven, grill, or stand mixer

• Supervise other cooks during the food assembly process

• cooks foods based on the kitchen atmosphere

• Cleans up after service hours

• Communicates with immediate supervisor about how to improve meal service

• Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings

• Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor

• Perform all additional manufacturing works as instructed by the General Service officer.
