Job Description

To support the HANDTECH Group’s growth by coordinating the design and implementation of strategic plans and monitoring the overall performance of the different companies under the group against key performance metrics and indicators. This position is also responsible for ensuring that the Group’s strategies and plans are executed timely and as per the intended result.  

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the internal and external business environment analysis to understand trends and identify potential challenges and opportunities for HANDTECH Group.

  • Lead and coordinate strategy development activities of the Group.

  • Oversee Group business performance and identify improvement opportunities based on business intelligence.

  • Lead the strategy planning, content development and annual business plans of the Group. 

  • Design and oversee the Group’s strategies, policies, guidelines and standards. 

  • Facilitate communication and cascade Group goals to each business units and track performance.

  • Facilitate development of annual plans and budgets. 

  • Lead the design of target performance levels, identify performance gaps and propose changes.

  • Responsible for monitoring and following up on project performance and ensuring adherence to schedules.

  • Oversee and manage project inputs, including manpower, machinery, equipment, and materials, ensuring their efficient allocation and utilization.

  • Oversee the adoption and implementation of appropriate technological solutions to enhance project performance and operational efficiency.

  • Drive implementation of strategic decisions /initiatives across all the business units of the Group.

  • Manage the strategy implementation process for key strategic actions and ensure strategic actions are completed at Group and business unit levels to achieve desired results.

  • Coordinate activities leading to the identification and development of business opportunities for the Group by identifying trendsetter ideas through researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.

  • Clarify the Group’s strategy for every function, ensuring that all employees understand the details of the strategic plan and how their work connects to Group goals.

  • Create actionable goals that make it possible to turn the Group’s mission into tangible results.

  • Provide leadership and guidance in the implementation and improvement of the Group’s strategy and operational excellence. 

  • Prepare and follow-up implementation of the Group’s annual business development and work plan.

  • Determine new opportunities by analysing business needs. 

  • Drive evaluation and prioritization of strategic initiatives - translating business strategy into manageable initiatives and scoping out the business case and journey plan.

  • Maintain oversight of all Group programs and effectively manage the portfolio, prioritize resources and track process.

  • Monitor and report implementation of identified initiatives and results.

  • Design and oversee the building process of strong business intelligence capability and support other functional units to leverage value from business intelligence. 

  • Drive investment planning, program strategy and vision, budget management support.

  • Manage the execution of projects and initiatives to ensure successful delivery within time and budget.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

  • Education: Economics, , management, Marketing, Business Administration or related fields

  • Experience: 8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
