Job Description
Assists in all general service activities; receives and stores purchased items properly issues material and office supplies form store only against authorized signature. Maintains proper records for receipt and issue of store items ensure that minimum and maximum stock level are maintained, prepares and submits statistical reports as required
3.1. Checks all items against purchase order and specifications before issuing goods Receiving note and examines the quantity and quality of goods.
3.2. Makes sure that all incoming materials are properly placed and arranged in the Store.
3.3. Issues items from store only against formal or proper requisition note duly
signed by an authorized staff.
3.4. Maintains proper record for receipt and issue of items.
3.5. Cooperates with internal/external auditors during inventory taking and/or
investigations.
3.6. Reminds supervisor and prepares purchase requisition note on time before critical store materials are depleted.
3.7. Ensures that minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained in accordance with established guidelines.
3.8. Makes sure that the necessary safety measures are in place to safe guard all
property in the storage against fire and/or damages.
• Diploma/Level IV/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Public Administration or other relevant degree from an accredited university
