Job Description
Job Purpose: will involve in managing activities such as financial planning, developing strategies, financial
analysis and advice of top management and coordination and performance evaluation of finance section.
Major Duties (not all inclusive)
Responsible for planning and coordinating division’s activities
Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash
Analyze financial information and advice best strategies to minimize financial risks
Oversee the bookkeeping function including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
Ensure that all government taxes are paid on timely manner
Job Requirement
Qualification: MA/BA Degree in Accounting/ Accounting and Finance or related field of study
Experience: (At least 7/9 years) demonstrated experience in financial transaction, operation and control activities; we use IFRS Reporting system; Working in it before is a plus
Knowledge and Skill
Experience working with double entry system
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Analytical skill and due concepts of IFRS
Microsoft applications and Peachtree
Ability to work under pressure
Work Place: Addis Ababa
