Job Requirements

• Qualifications/special skills: Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A first-level university degree or higher in the communications, journalism, public relations, social sciences, international relations or related field is desirable. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in the area of communications, journalism, public relations, social sciences, international relations or related field is required. Experience will be reduced to minimum of three (3) years if the applicant possess a first-level degree (Bachelor's Degreed) or higher. Ethiopian Resident permit is required.

• Languages: English and French are the two working languages of the United Nations. For this position, fluency in English is required. Fluency of another UN official language (French, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, or Arabic) is desirable. Knowledge in Amharic and Swahili is an advantage
