Job Description
We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Deputy General Manager to oversee and manage the company’s operational processes. This role will require a deep understanding of the renewable energy sector specifically solar energy systems and the emerging eMobility market. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, substantial experience in import trading, and knowledge of eMobility vehicles and related technologies.
Requirement:
Proven ability to lead and manage daily operations, ensuring an efficient workflow for processes related to solar energy systems, inverters, and eMobility solutions.
Extensive experience in developing and implementing strategies to optimize the supply chain, procurement, and distribution of renewable energy products.
Proven track record in managing import activities in compliance with local and international regulations.
Experience in managing and mentoring operational and technical teams effectively.
Proficient in collaborating with the finance team to develop and oversee budgets.
Competent in monitoring financial performance to ensure profitability.
Experienced in driving cost control initiatives and formulating resource allocation strategies.
Knowledgeable about compliance with local and international renewable energy regulations.
Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, clients, solar associations, and regulatory authorities.
Committed to staying informed about trends and technological advancements in the renewable energy and eMobility sectors to enhance company offerings.
Job Requirement
Skills and Competencies:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management. A master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar energy systems, inverters, and SHS solutions.
Proven experience in import trading, with a solid understanding of regulatory and logistical processes.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
Knowledge of Ethiopian energy regulations and international standards is an advantage.
