On behalf of a client, we are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of IT Specialist.

Main Purpose of the Position:

The main purpose of this position is to ensure efficient IT service delivery through effective support and administration of the IT infrastructure and user support.

This includes troubleshooting network, server, and security issues, coordinating with the Group ICT Team for optimal system use, and maintaining compliance with IT policies. The role also involves ensuring system security through monitoring and updates, as well as recommending and implementing software and hardware improvements as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient delivery of IT services and support.

• Troubleshoot and analyze network issues (LAN and WAN).

• Coordinate with the Group ICT Team to optimize system usage.

• Ensure adherence to IT policies and maintain system security.

• Plan and implement IT infrastructure improvements.

• Manage daily IT services and monitor systems.

• Provide training on IT equipment and software.

• Oversee network security and manage system backups.

• Serve as the primary contact for IT-related concerns.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest enhancements.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

• A degree-level qualification, a University degree in Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems, post-graduate degree would be an added advantage.

• Minimum of 3 years & above in ICT/IT Administration.

• Computer Keyboard Typing Skills: 30 words per minute with 100% accuracy.

Key Skills

• Proficient in IT administration and problem-solving.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

• Experience with ERP systems, particularly Navision.

• Language and Computer Literacy

• Proficient in English and Amharic.

• Advanced skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).

Additional Requirements

• 100% on-site work.
