To prepare government MOUs/LOUs and facilitate their signing processes, facilitate donor agreement review and signing, reports preparation, partnership, and communications related tasks.  

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Prepare government MOUs/LOUs, facilitate their appraisal, and ensure timely signature by government signatories

•    Facilitation and arrangement of meetings

•    Ensure the timely review and singing of donor agreements

•    Preparation and Compilation of the Organization’s Annual Plans and Reports to the Authority for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO) submission

•    Partnership Management (Pre-award-post award)

•    Liaise with partner organizations for smooth relationship and partnership

•    Ensure the preparation and timely signature of Grants agreements, amendments, PAL, Sub agreements, and MOUs.

•    Oversee budget management of project’s, and work closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely disbursement and liquidation of sub award expenses

•    Support the team on partners contract issues as well as technical content

•    Support program documentation process in collaboration with other departments

•    Maintain a grant filing system for all grants, including agreements, proposals, revisions, reports, etc.

•    Support on Visibility and branding activities

•    Support on donor and government communications

•    Prepare, compile, and submit donor and government reports.

•    Improve information management across emergency and humanitarian programming

•    Support in the preparation of capability statements and other communication materials 

•    Prepare, document, and share success stories, best practices, and social media contents

•    Perform similar tasks as assigned by Supervisor 

Job Requirements

•    BA/MA Degree in Journalism and Communications, Management, or Related fields with 5+ years of relevant NGO experience in facilitation of MOUs/LOUs, Partnership Management, Grants Management, Communications, and reporting (Preferably, having experience working in an INGO). 

•    Proficiency of Microsoft Office including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as email communications and application of other basic computer programs.

•    Professionalism, Honesty, Integrity.

•    Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in English.

•    Proven experience in liaising with government structures, donors and partners

•    Experience in media content development, designing Visibility materials, and media engagement is preferable
