CCECC Ethiopian Branch is seeking a competent applicant for the following vacancy position: we are searching for an experienced Contract Engineer, Hydrology and Hydraulic Engineer to do the hydrological work for various projects that we have. 

Hydraulic engineers research and develop methods for the provision of clean water, water treatment and flood damage prevention and reaction. They research water needs in a location and develop methods for meeting those needs, such as designing and developing projects for managing water resources such as treatment plants, pipelines, pump systems, irrigation or draining systems and other water supply systems

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience

• Degree in Hydrology, hydraulic, or water resources.

• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in performing hydrology and hydraulic analysis and report preparation under ERA standards.

• Familiar with work standards of Ethiopia

• Proficient in using GIS, hydrology, and hydraulic analyzing software for transportation structures, e.g., AutoCAD, Esri ArcGIS (or QGIS),  HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and HY-8.

• Proficient in using office software in technic report preparation.

•  Good English communication and writing skill

• Abide by work arrangement, full of team spirit.
