Job Description

As part of our strategic expansion into the Ugandan market, our group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Operations Manager for Uganda (kampala) for Buna Plate products. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our market presence, increasing sales revenue, expanding our customer base, appointing and managing distributors, and achieving profitable growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Market Expansion:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market presence in Uganda.

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.

  2. Sales Growth:

    • Increase sales revenue through proactive sales efforts and customer relationship management.

    • Meet or exceed sales targets and profit margins.

  3. Customer Base Expansion:

    • Identify and engage potential customers to grow the customer base.

    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.

  4. Distributor Management:

    • Identify, appoint, and manage distributors to ensure effective market coverage.

    • Train and support distributors to enhance their sales performance.

  5. Reporting:

    • Compile and submit regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and performance metrics.

    • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  6. Market Intelligence:

    • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

    • Use market intelligence to inform sales strategies and business decisions.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the FMCG.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

  • Age from 26-30
