Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving information systems
  Bridging the gap between business needs & technology solutions mainly on the web and mobile

• Requirements Gathering from different stakeholders including business users and IT teams, understand system requirements through interviews, workshops, and document analysis to identify business needs and translate them into functional requirements.

• System Design based on the gathered requirements and design and propose system solutions.

• Creating system models, such as data flow diagrams, use cases, and process maps, to illustrate system functionality and interactions.

• Documentation on User needs assessment, requirement specifications and design documents.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that the proposed system design is implemented correctly.

• Provide guidance and support throughout the development life cycle, conducting system testing, and troubleshooting issues.

• Identifying opportunities for process improvement within an organization through analyzing existing workflows, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and propose system enhancements or automation to streamline operations and improve productivity.

• Ensuring the seamless integration of new or modified systems with existing infrastructure by assessing compatibility and work with technical teams to define integration requirements and perform testing to verify system interoperability

• Preparing Documentation, creating detailed system documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and system diagrams.

• Provide training to end-users on system functionality and best practices.

• Project Management skill is a plus.

• As being a key member of the project team, the Systems Analyst should define project scope, estimating timelines and resources,

Job Requirements

• Education: degree or Masters in Information Technology, computer science and related fields.

• Experience: 2+ years of experience

• Afan oromiffa language is a mandatory

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of software development methodologies and lifecycle

• Familiarity with business process modeling and system design techniques

• Proficiency in gathering and documenting requirements

• Understanding of database concepts and data analysis

• Technical proficiency in relevant tools and technologies (Mainly Figma and Microsoft Visio)

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
