Job Description

1. Job Summary

Drive sales channel revenue growth by following up the total market evolution of the assigned route(s) and territory through collection of data by regular Point of Sale (PoS) visits, creating and maintaining smooth relationship with the outlets and consumers, execution of promotional activities, tracking competitor trade practices and sales activities, identify new opportunities and challenges and suggest possible solutions.

2. Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and propose annual trade partnerships and investment program with details of financial and marketing materials budgetary requirements,

  • Roll out an annual program of trade partnerships and investment working in collaboration with the Area Sales Managers

  • Effectively implement national trade partnership and investment program through the engagement of internal and external stakeholders,

  • Lead a team of sales projects coordinators and other team members to achieve OTIF (on-time-in-full) executions of projects,

  • Create and maintain relationships with key clients, and diagnose problems with the business and formulate effective solutions

  • Ensure these outlets have the right stock that represents the brands fit the outlet, the total business portfolio (including Beer and Wines) at upscale market.

  • Work with team to select, evaluate, and approve opportunities for growth in the market

  • Develop and implement effective regional sales and marketing strategies for the concerned channels.

  • Implement strategic initiatives that maximize availability, market share and preference of our Brands and SKUs

  • Assess the market and select outlets that could fall under the upscale market category,

  • Develop unique ways to grow the business and come up with solutions

  • Lead the channel sales team members to achieve sales targets and brand goals

  • Prepare, review, and submit timely report for the concerned body of the company

  • Collect and compile data to identify opportunities for service improvement

  • Analyze and go beyond the numbers to find the real insight that will be the key to growing the company’s brands with clients

  • Create and maintain relationship with clients,

  • Build relationship and trust with not only the owners of the facilities but also managers, supervisors etc,

  • Conduct regular visit during business hours including night-time, and report on activities taken by competitors

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager

3. Job Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,

  • Computer literacy with basic knowledge of Word and Excel,

  • Customer Service oriented

  • Ability to work well under pressure.

  • Auto driving license with experience.

  • Very good language skills in English, Amharic, and other local languages

  • Auto driving license with experiences

3.1 Education

  • The position requires a minimum of TVET Level 3/4/Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management or Business Administration or Business Management or Management related fields

3.2 Experience

  • 2 or Zero (0) years of respective experience
