Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all company products and services comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, guidelines, and industry standards, and communicate these changes to the relevant departments.

  • Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documents and applications to relevant regulatory bodies.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all regulatory submissions, approvals, and correspondence.

  • Collaborate with product development teams to provide regulatory guidance throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Act as the primary contact with regulatory authorities

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on regulatory requirements and expectations.

  • Support the development and implementation of regulatory strategies for new and existing products.

  • Follow up on the disposal of damaged and expired products on a timely basis

  • Assist the procurement and logistics manager in the tasks related to EFDA to acquire a pre-import permit

  • Search for new suppliers and register their products as per EFDA’s registration guidelines

Job Requirements

  • BSc Degree in Pharmacy or Biomedical Engineering

  • Basic computer application skills, knowledge of registration guidelines and process

  • 1-2 years of service in regulatory affairs is a plus.

  • Proficiency in English & Amharic
