Job Description

Background

Our company, Zoma Museum Private Limited Company, is an institution engaged in constructing green areas and places that can protect the natural climate through ancient architectural art and special creativity and design. The activities of the Zoma Museum include a gallery, library, children's center, restaurant, coffee shop, gift shop, vegetables, herbs, flowers and trees garden, elementary school, amphitheater, and animal farm.

We would like competent and qualified applicants to apply for the below listed vacant position.

• Job Title : Storekeeper

• Job Location : Addis Ababa

• Reports to : Senior Accountant

• Salary : Negotiable

Assists in all general service activities; receives and stores purchased items properly issues material and office supplies form store only against authorized signature. Maintains proper records for receipt and issue of store items ensure that minimum and maximum stock level are maintained, prepares and submits statistical reports as required

Duties and Responsibilities

3.1. Checks all items against purchase order and specifications before issuing goods receiving note and examines the quantity and quality of goods.

3.2. Makes sure that all incoming materials are properly placed and arranged in the store.

3.3. Issues items from store only against formal or proper requisition note duly signed by an authorized staff.

3.4. Maintains proper record for receipt and issue of items.

3.5. Cooperates with internal/external auditors during inventory taking and/or investigations.

3.6. Reminds supervisor and prepares purchase requisition note on time before critical store materials are depleted.

3.7. Ensures that minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained in accordance with established guidelines.

3.8. Makes sure that the necessary safety measures are in place to safe guard all property in the storage against fire and/or damages.

3.9. Prepares and submits statistical reports as required.

3.10. Files and maintains a wide variety of records & keep minutes.

3.11. Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Level IV/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Public Administration or other relevant degree from an accredited university and with at least 2/3 years’ experience in similar roles, preferably with a private company.

• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

• Solid problem-solving and business acumen skills.

• Ability to operate and manage ERP Systems
