Chief information officer are Responsible for the processes for managing, evaluating, and assessing how well the agency is managing its IT resources. Information security and privacy – CIOs are responsible for establishing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with an agency-wide information security program.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Bank’s Information Technology and Information Security functions.

•  Design and implement IT strategy that are aligned with the Bank’s business objectives.

•  Plan current and future adoption and migration needs of new technologies and ensure the required budget is secure

•   Oversee the day to day IT Operations that includes system administration and network management

•  Manage relationship with key IT vendor.

•  Ensure compliance with relevant IT related laws and regulations.

•   Identify and prioritize IT related initiatives that support the Bank’s growth and competitive advantage.

Job Requirement

• Education   : MSC in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information system, Information technology, MIS  or related fields of study

• Experience: Minimum of 13 years of experience in relevant position preferably in the banking industry of which 4 years as Director in information technology posts
