Job Summary:

As a Travel Agent, you will assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements. You will use your expertise in the Galileo system to provide accurate and efficient service, ensuring client satisfaction from initial inquiries to the completion of their travel plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, needs, and budgets.

• Utilize the Galileo system to research, plan, and book travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and other travel services.

• Provide clients with detailed itineraries and travel documents.

• Offer expert advice on destinations, travel routes, and accommodations.

• Assist clients with travel-related inquiries and issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

• Stay informed about travel industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and bookings.

• Build and maintain relationships with travel suppliers and partners.

• Handle changes or cancellations in travel plans efficiently.

• Promote and sell travel insurance options to clients.

• Participate in training sessions and travel-related events as required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a year experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in using the Galileo system for booking and reservations.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Knowledge of popular travel destinations and current travel trends.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• High school Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in travel or tourism are a plus.
