After more than 30 years of operation, the group has integrated the upstream and downstream of the chemical industry, including raw materials, packages, semi-finished and finished products, equipment, and production lines. Dafa Soap & Detergent Manufacturing PLC of Ethiopia was established in 2018, started with washing powder business. In 2022, Dafa company introduced its liquid detergent production line, and produced variety of liquid products, such as laundry liquid, hand liquid, dishwashing liquid, multi-purpose liquid, glass cleaner, bleach, and many other categories. In 2023, to satisfy the highly demand of high-quality jerry cans for its own liquid products, Dafa introduced a brand-new advanced plastic production line. By now, Dafa has successfully runed two famous brands, Suppow and Azzy, containing more than 80 SKUs. Job Overview

• Formulate the company's product research and development strategy based on market demand trends and technology development trends to ensure the market competitiveness of products.

• Generate the project schedule, and implement it with the team.

• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to have better understanding about the end users’ needs and ensure the products meet market demand.

• Develop and improve the quality standards of raw materials and testing methods, and assist the QC department in completing the inspection of raw materials. Develop and enhance product formulas, production processes, quality standards, and testing methods.

• Collaborate with the QC and production departments, guiding them to ensure that the products meet corporate standards.

• Enhance the management of the whole department, including team management, data and document management, budgets management, to improve departmental efficiency and create higher value.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to complete other tasks assigned by management

Qualification

• Male, 35- 45 years old, with no less than 5 years of work experience in detergent and cosmetic industry or related industries.

• Be good at English, Amharic and Oromifa, including listening, speaking and writing, and be able to accurately translate one language into another.

• BSC in Chemistry / Chemical engineering.

• With abundant experience and knowledge about the formulations of washing powder, liquid detergent, bar soap, shampoo and other detergent products.

• Be familiar with the production processes of the above products.

• Well master the skills and methods of quality testes of the raw materials and finished products mentioned above.

• Have good personality, such as confidence, diligence, reliability and work enthusiasm.
