Job Summery

The incumbent is responsible for performing professional level works in Planning, organizing, and coordinating training programs efficiently. Develops and conducts training needs assessments; designs up to date strategies and methodologies for training needs and impact assessment, verify Team Leaders development training and staff/Experts’ development needs in line within the framework of the mission, policies, and organizational direction of the CCRDA.

Description of Duties

  • Identifies and adapts the experiences of training institutions locally and abroad that conduct specialized/incremental and innovative training courses.

  • Identifies and organizes relevant short-term training for CCRDA member organizations & its staff.

  • Plan, prepare and deliver training according to the training package of the organization.

  • Identifies and ensures the timely selection of appropriate resource persons for workshops and training as deemed necessary.

  • Develops training modules, ensures the training and workshops organized are met the minimum acceptable standards, reviews training schedules, regularly monitors & make sure evaluation is made to verify the outcome of the capacity building training programs.

  • Design the training programs by means of exploring; reviewing/evaluating the tools and methodologies, curriculum, topics, attendant qualification, and training materials, etc. on the basis of identified needs.

  • Based on needs assessment organizes and conduct coordinates training courses and workshop programmes, provides necessary advice to Team and CCRDA members on matters related to training and workshops.

  •  Ensures the proper management of the training facilities and properties such as training venues and lodges with furniture, audio-visual equipment, transport arrangement, etc. and participants are informed about date, venue, nature and type, duration of training well in advance. Starting from May allowance

  • Facilitate training and monitoring in the area of specialization to staff of member organizations in accordance with the training programmes of the CCRDA.

  • Undertakes self-initiated activities such as preparation of concept papers, TORs etc. in his/her area of specialization and prepares proposals aimed at enhancing the service provision of CCRDA to its members.

  • Develop and maintain a database of training program executed, profile and list of participant individuals and member organizations and ensure that appropriate training materials, workshops proceedings are prepared and documented on time and added to the Library resources.

  •  Regularly follow-up, monitor and periodically evaluate and assess impacts of the training programs to ensure the quality of training and the achievement of the intended objectives of CCRDA.

  •  Regularly review the proposed training and workshop attendants fulfilled the minimum standards endorsed/approved for specific training courses.

  • Participates in the preparation of operational plan, budget, and accomplished performance reports of the Team.

  • Provide assistance to the Team in pooling resource persons from various teams of CCRDA, advice in problem resolution and provision of counseling to the team members on a variety of potentially controversial human resource development issues.

  • Prepare and submit the required implementation status of the training reports to the Team as appropriate.

  • Perform related jobs given by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirement

  • University graduate with Master’s Degree in organizational management, Human Resource development, project management, peacebuilding and conflict resolution, and community -led development or public administration with 8 years of relevant Prior experience as a trainer or a similar position.

  • University graduate with Bachelor’s Degree in organizational management, Human Resource Management, project management, peacebuilding and conflict resolution, and community -led development or public administration with 10 years of relevant Prior experience as a trainer or a similar position
