Pharmacists prepare, dispense, and provide prescriptions for, over the counter medication. They offer clinical information on medicines, report suspected adverse reactions, and provide personalised support to patients. Pharmacists formulate and test medications in laboratories, and store, preserve, and distribute them.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Compounding and dispensing medications, as prescribed by physicians.

• Monitoring customers’ drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customers of any potential side effects.

• Instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.

• Conducting health and wellness screenings.

• Providing immunizations, and other medical services, such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.

• Keeping accurate customer records.

• Ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

Job Requirements

• BSc Degree in pharmacy or Diploma in pharmacy (druggiest).

Experience

• Work experience requirements: 0 with COC or zpplicants with more than one year of experience working as senior pharmacists or more than three years working as licensed senior druggists.
