Habesha Breweries S.C. is looking for a Warehouse Manager.

The Role Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Manager leads, coaches, and controls warehouse operation staff and drivers toward the company goal. He/she expected to maximize customer satisfaction and warehouse profitability. Locate the commercial warehouse to the right location to reduce order-to-delivery time. He/She also responsible to promot logistics efficiency through proper management of TAT at the commercial warehouse and maintaining the right product mix at all times.

Result areas

Planning 

• Formulate warehouse and logistics-related budget.

• Plan and implement improvements to warehouse and logistics systems or processes to drive out unnecessary costs.

• Coordinate with other departments to integrate warehouse and logistics with business systems or processes, such as sales, procurement, plant operation, and/or finance.

• Propose projects to modernize and meet standards and analyze the financial impact of proposed projects/changes such as new processes for warehousing & Logistics, constructions, new ways of operations & etc.

• Planning and aligning with stakeholders to optimize and free up warehouse space for the incoming goods at a general store.  

Effective Logistics Operation

• Analyzing the sales trend, demand by division, and SKUs to establish the right stock level at the commercial warehouse

• Coordinating the inbound and outbound logistics activities through a well-developed tracking tool.

• Follow up and trace all orders until delivery to the agent and return empty back to the warehouse

• Manage delivery plan/schedule by organizing shipments in coordination with the logistician through a review of storage requirements.

Customers satisfaction 

• Resolve problems concerning warehouse and logistics systems, and Suppliers/customers issues

• Develop a strong relationship with the sales team by Setting warehouse working hours jointly with the warehouse and sales team.

• Continuously review warehouse ways of working to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure that customer complaints is addressed timely.

Cost Optimization/saving

• Maintain efficient requirements for warehouse & logistics operation.

• Report on and, in consultation with others, take appropriate action for the disposal of obsolete, spoiled, surplus, and scrap items.

• Set a standard and follow-up efficiency towards minimum response time to supply & demand requests.

• Assure minimum errors during any process like receipts, and dispatches.

Effective utilization of the system

• Develop different SOPs, work processes, & flow for the unit.

• Control & Monitor different SOPs, work processes, & flow are properly implemented & used.

• Ensure daily stock movement is properly recorded in the system

• Whenever the system is down in a specific Warehouse/Depot ensure daily manual transactions are forwarded to head office and captured

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred.

•  5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.

• Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving inventory when necessary.
