Job Summary

The IT Support Intern will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our organization's employees. This role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, as well as assisting with the setup and maintenance of computer systems and software applications. The intern will work closely with the IT team to address technical problems and document solutions. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills, basic technical knowledge, and a willingness to learn. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in IT support and is an excellent opportunity for career growth in the technology field.

Duties and Responsibilities

·        Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person.

·        Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

·        Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.

·        Install, upgrade, and maintain software applications and operating systems.

·        Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, as directed.

·        Document technical issues and resolutions accurately.

·        Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex technical problems efficiently.

·        Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.

·        Perform other IT-related tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors.

·        Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information and interactions with users.

Job Requirements

Competences

·        Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

·        Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

·        Good communication skill both in Amharic & English

·        Good problem understanding and solving skill

Qualifications and Requirement 

·        BSc Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology

Experience 

·        Fresh Graduate
