Director of Development for the upcoming BEE Channel (Black Economy Excellence) media production,

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development efforts of the media production company, including identifying new business opportunities and partnerships.

• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and expand the company's reach in the media industry.

• Collaborate with internal teams to create innovative content and projects that align with the company's goals.

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry partners to support business development initiatives.

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the media landscape.

• Present development plans, progress reports, and performance metrics to senior management and key stakeholders.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful implementation of development strategies.

• Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform development decisions.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• the ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree, have at least 5 +years of experience in the media industry, be fluent in English, and demonstrate strong writing and communication skills. The candidate should also be able to present reports, conduct interviews, and effectively implement strategies.

• Strong business development acumen and strategic planning skills to drive growth and expansion in the media industry.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively communicate development plans and progress reports.

• Ability to present reports, conduct interviews, and implement strategies for business development initiatives.

• Problem-solving abilities to address challenges, identify opportunities, and contribute to strategic solutions.

• Knowledge of media production processes, industry trends, and best practices in business development.

• Collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams, partners, and stakeholders to achieve development goals.

• Proficiency in project management tools, market research techniques, and relationship-building strategies to support business development efforts.
