Job Description

The Empty Goods National Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the empty container movement and management across all sites. The EG National Warehouse Manager will play a critical role in ensuring efficient operations, optimizing inventory levels, maintaining quality control, and implementing best practices to continuously improve the empty container management processes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the handling, storage, and movement of empty containers within the warehouse network.

  • Analyze demand patterns and forecast empty container requirements based on production schedules and customer needs.

  • Monitor the proper transactions, on time arrival and reconciliation of intercompany container transfers.

  • Establish and maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing excess or shortage of empty containers.

  • Monitor and manage all sites container loan transactions are as per the company container loan procedure.

  • Monitor and manage sites empty container loading/unloading efficiency and take necessary action to maintain the standard loading unloading time.

  • Collect, compile, and send all sites Empty container stock report and reconciliation for the National Warehouse Manager.

  • Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, quality standards, and legal requirements are maintained at all sites empty warehouse operation.

  • Ensure each container normal transactions and write-off transactions are managed on time with the system including, transport missing, breakages, container collected from suppliers and issued to suppliers, damage crate and crushed bottle issued to customer.

Job Requirements

  • BA Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supplies Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Manufacturing Engineering or relevant fields

  •      5 years of experience
