We are seeking an experienced surveyor to join our team and oversee field staff to ensure the timely completion of our projects. The position requires the ability to accurately read plans, technical standards, and project specifications and make calculations.

Responsibilities:

• Check the elevations, the setting out, and the rest of the survey work by the contractor are required to ensure accuracy.

• Advise the Site Engineer and recommend actions concerning construction surveys.

• Perform the initial baseline and control surveys including establishment of benchmarks and recovery of any existing survey monuments to be removed at the start of the project as directed by Senior site Engineer.

• Check the field measurement surveys including original and final cross sections, check critical elevations, dimensions, and locations of structural elements, earthwork grading, pavement, and appurtenances, check the Contractor’s detailed survey in advance of construction operations, investigate and clarify survey discrepancies.

• Participate in the format and standard procedures for the calculation and documentation of quantities. Assist the existing Surveyor in training in the use of modern survey equipment.

• Involve in the calibration and checking of the survey instruments.

• Involve in the as-built review and finalization in coordination with project managers, site engineers, land surveyors, and inspectors.

Job Requirements

Requirements and skills:

• 5 years and above experience as a surveyor. Experience at electro mechanical project is a plus

• Working knowledge of GPS and GIS 

• Tech savvy, including familiarity with CAD software

• Aptitude in math and problem-solving

• Attention to detail

• Great organizational and leadership skills

• BSc Degree or Diploma in Surveying Engineering or a similar field
