EHS Specialists execute plans for the improvement of work environments and cultures. They assess risks and interview employees to ensure the work environment is compliant with health and safety rules, as well as ensuring the interaction within the workplace occurs in a positive and productive manner

Duties and Responsibilites:

1. Ensuring that all applicable requirements (Huawei, Legal, Customer) are integrated into the business activities and processes to secure compliance and ensure adequate proactive monitoring.

2. Ensuring all projects align with Huawei  EHS  and local policies, instructions, and guidelines.

3. Ensuring that EHS hazards, risks, and controls are identified and implemented throughout the project lifecycle (pre-sales, planning, execution) by providing expert Monitoring implementation of the EHS processes and plans systematically and enforcing strict adherence to the defined mitigation actions.

4. Acting as Lead Investigator in incidents, including conducting effective and pertinent investigation analysis, reporting on incidents as per Huawei standards, and proposing and following up.

5. Working collaboratively with other Management to ensure diligent and effective management of suppliers, including the selection, evaluation, and onboarding of contractors, performance monitoring, and governance.

6. Conduct Training, awareness, communication, and engagement with internal and external staff.

Job Requirements

Education and Major requirements

•BSC OF Telecom / construction Engineering or equivalent EHS post studies Diploma/ Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety(NEBOSH IGC ) or equivalent and IOSH certification is must
•A solid understanding of construction and engineering aspects (mechanical & electrical & rigging and working at heights ) would be an advantage
•Excellent communication and presentation and reporting skills is must 

Project Experience 

8+ years’ experience in relevant roles with some experience in telecom filed, oil and gas or construction  5 years’ experience as EHS manager for project base organization
Experienced in delivering training programs & sessions, preferred TTT certificates Including Work at heights , rope rigging , machinery and manual lifting , work with electricity and EMS management
Experience with management system (BS OHSAS –occupational H&S system- 18001 & ISO 14001) + OHSAS 18001 Lead auditor certification is must  

Language Skill

English can be working language
