General Mission

Responsible for Writing articles, bulletins, sales letters, speeches, and other related informative, marketing and promotional material to advertisement and promotional uses

Main Duties and tasks

• Creating and write Ad content for use by publications, broadcasts, blogs, websites, or internet medias or print medias for Advertisement to promote the sales of company products/services

• Conducting in-depth research before writing and brainstorming new content ideas 

• Writing attractive copies for promotional and marketing purposes and submitting well-planned structures to Editor

• Revise written material to meet personal standards and to satisfy needs of clients, publishers, directors, or producers.

• Optimizing Ad contents to target a larger audience and market demand

• Conduct research and interviews to determine which of a product's selling features should be promoted and advertised to right media

• Coordinating with Graphic Designers in creating supporting graphics/illustrations 

• Communicating with clients to understand their content requirements 

• Responsible for any additional related activity on his assignment which comes from his boss

Competencies and Professional skills required

• Familiarity with Content Management Software like WordPress, Joomla, and Wix  

• Understanding of the latest social media trends and developments  

• Highly creative and motivated individual  

• Good time management and organizational skills  

• Excellent command over the language  

• Strong research and multitasking skills  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Amharic+ English).

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field with at least 1+ 2 years experiences in Ad or content writing in advertisement agencies or medias
