Habesha Breweries S.C. is looking for a Brewing Manager.

The Role

The Brewing Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the production of all fermented and non-fermented beverages required by the business with the right quantities and quality at minimal cost, maintaining consistency of the product quality to meet the expectations of consumers in a competitive market; Participating in weekly production planning to meet sales and distribution forecasts for brewed products, coaching & motivating department’s team from operation phase up to end and guiding preparation of SOP for brewing process & cycle; Coordinating the availability of all required imputes/raw materials of brewing.

Result Area:

• Achieve weekly production target & meet sales demand  by participating in planning and implementation 

• Management of Brewing machines to reduce breakdowns and downtime

• Maintain steadiness of product quality& meet consumers' expectation 

• Achieve  short, medium, and long-term sales demands to avoid stock out and maintain the target market share

• Drive to build a culture of clean production areas and add  value for product quality

• Communicate Operational and performance reports  to management for informed decision 

• People Management 

Job Requirements

• B.sc.in Biological or chemical science

• 5 years plus experience as a brewing manager  

• Familiarity with the brewing process

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Planning and organizational skills
