Job Specifications: 

Quality Management System:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS).

  • Ensure compliance with ISO or industry-specific quality standards.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the quality control team.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in quality control procedures.

  • Implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency.

Auditing and Inspection:

  • Conduct internal and external quality audits.

  • Prepare for and facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies or customers.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

  • Utilize statistical methods for data interpretation.

Root Cause Analysis:

  •   Implement root cause analysis methodologies to identify and address the root causes of quality issues.

  • Work collaboratively with teams to implement corrective actions.

Quality Metrics:

  • Establish and monitor key quality metrics.

  • Provide regular reports on quality performance to senior management.

Documentation Control:

  • Ensure proper control and management of quality-related documents.

  • Implement document control procedures.

Training and Development:

  • Provide training to quality control staff and other relevant personnel.

  • Keep the team updated on changes in quality standards and practices.

Customer Feedback:

  • Establish mechanisms for collecting and analyzing customer feedback.

  • Use customer input to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Supplier Quality Management:

  • Collaborate with procurement to establish and maintain supplier quality standards.

  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments.

Technology Utilization:

  • Leverage quality management software and tools for efficient tracking, reporting, and analysis.

  • Stay updated on advancements in quality control technology.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

  •   Additional certifications in quality control (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer - CQE) are advantageous.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in quality control, preferably in a managerial role.

  • Extensive knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies.

Leadership Skills:

  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead a quality control team.

  • Experience in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.

Industry Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations.

  • Stay updated on changes in quality control practices.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interpret data and implement corrective actions.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional teams.

Auditing Experience:

  • Experience in conducting internal and external quality audits.

  • Familiarity with audit processes and documentation.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with regulatory affairs to address compliance issues.

Team Collaboration:

  •   Ability to collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Foster positive working relationships with cross-functional teams.

Problem-Solving:

  •   Proven ability to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Implement problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
