Job Description

Major Responsibility

  • Undertakes appropriate inspection, counting, weighing of  commodities and other supplies etc. received through  donation;

  • Record a returned resources and spare parts, keep it on a safe way and put it Green in a separate place

  • Issues supplies, commodities, etc. to requisitioning units upon receipt of duly signed store material requisition; Dispatches all items/commodities against approved official Store requisition pads of WVE.

  • Designs appropriate storage arrangements in the stores for efficient utilisation of the available space, and to allow easy movement of people in the store;

  • Records all incoming and outgoing commodities in bin cards.  Bin cards are to be stuck or hung on the each commodity stack to facilitate identification and inventory counting;

  • Handles cash collection and timely deposit in the bank, prepares deposit voucher to record cash collection and deposits. In addition to this, having a well-monitored check book and update in every transaction

Job Requirements

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification

  • BA Degree or Diploma in Accounting and any other related fields.

Required Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in relief and/or emergency response program

  • Basic English spoken and writing.

  • Able to carry out limited, un-supervised tasks.

ferred Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Emergency Response General Food Distribution experience and, REST, WFP work experience is more preferable.
