Purpose of the position

Shift Mechanical Technician is responsible for the execution of all planned and unplanned maintenance tasks of Packaging plant. He ensures smooth running of packaging plant through condition monitoring of machines and execution of quality maintenance.

Job Requirements

• Perform quality maintenance and avoids mistakes in maintenance to ensure reliability of machines and to reduce unplanned production stoppages.

• Discuss on work detail and duration of planned corrective maintenance.

• Provide feedback on improvement of preventive maintenance tasks and frequencies of schedules.

• Execute all types of mechanical maintenance of all packaging machines and return machines to operational condition.

• Carry out troubleshooting of faults and finds root causes by doing RCFA.

• Discuss on machine performances and corrective actions as required.

• Support and provides technical assistance in execution of allocated work orders.

• Support the identification and preparation of spare parts specification for purchase ordering.

Job Requirements

• TVET Level 4 and Above in General Mechanic or related fields with 2+ years of relevant experience in a relevant business environment ideally in FMCG company.
