We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our healthcare team as a Hospital Cleaner. The Hospital Cleaner will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, ensuring the health and safety of our patients, staff, and visitors. This position requires a commitment to cleanliness, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a hospital setting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Disinfecting:

• Perform cleaning duties in patient rooms, common areas, offices, and other hospital facilities.

• Follow established cleaning protocols and use appropriate cleaning agents to ensure effective disinfection.

Waste Management:

• Collect and dispose of medical and general waste in accordance with hospital policies and safety regulations.

• Maintain waste disposal areas in a clean and organized manner.

Infection Control:

• Adhere to infection control procedures and protocols to prevent the spread of infections within the hospital.

• Pay special attention to high-touch surfaces and areas.

Floor Care:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in patient rooms, hallways, and other designated areas.

• Perform periodic tasks such as carpet cleaning and floor waxing as needed.

Restocking Supplies:

• Ensure that cleaning supplies and toiletries are adequately stocked in designated areas.

• Report any shortages or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Collaboration:

• Coordinate with other hospital staff to address specific cleaning needs and priorities.

• Communicate effectively with nursing and maintenance teams to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to safety regulations and protocols while performing cleaning tasks.
  Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a Cleaner

Experience:

• 1-2 years of working experience
