Ensure plan prepared with active participation of stakeholders and project participants
Plan for logistics effectively for project staff
Design documents submitted to partners
DIP plan documents meet time & quality standards
Procurement plans prepared and shared
Weekly plans prepared and shared regularly
Initiate coordination with relevant stakeholders in the project site and established formal partnership forges with signing of MOU/A
Develop annual and quarterly project work plans and oversee implementation to high standards by scope and timelines.
Provide technical guidance and ensure technical soundness in the planning of project activities that would result to the achievement of project objectives
Ensure core project models for this grant project (FMNR, Regenerative agriculture, Rehabilitation, Land rehabilitation, Soil and Water conservation, Saving for Transformation, Product Value Chain Development) and approaches are implemented according to schedule and minimum standards.
Closely coordinate with support functions and teams, and other project teams in the area to ensure effective coordinated project organizing and quality results
Coordinate with support team for all logistical, procurement and administrative requests are made and delivered to ensure smooth implementation of activities.
Performs other tasks as may be relevant to the implementation of programs in her/his assigned areas
FMNR, Regenerative agriculture, Rehabilitation, Land rehabilitation, Soil and Water conservation, Saving for Transformation, Product Value Chain Development and approaches are meeting schedule and minimum standards.
Effective coordination stakeholders’ and project team meeting so that scope, risks, stakeholders, issues, etc are managed.
Smoothly coordinated logistics contributing to smooth implementation of activities.
Ensure project work plans are effectively implemented, monitored and progress reports shared including effective budget management.
Coordinate and support baselining, data gathering and evaluation report.
Ensure project management in meeting minimum quality standards, improvement, reflection, learning and innovation.
Monitors progress of targets completion and provides regular updates/reports on agreed schedules.
Facilitate meetings and updating with Project Officers on the status of the project Monitors staff activity implementation and ensures supports and resources are provided to staff
Compile and submit quality progress reports, monthly, quarterly and end of project reports and submits them to programs for onward submission to the donor.
Coordinate regular reviews and reflections on progress of the project at the districts and regional levels.
Contribute to the development of project related documents such as success stories and publications.
Contribute to development and introduction of innovation to ensure World Vision is continually incorporating best practice approaches in operations.
Facilitate documentation of stories and media materials with children interest related to World Vision policies and liaise with concerned units for broader coverage (digital and printed, media).
Plan relevant budget and comply to financial policies and procedures
Review finance utilization regularly by involving project staff and take actions
Partners coordinated with established formal partnership MOU/A.
Annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly project work plans submitted and implementation monitored to high standards by scope and timelines.
Monitoring regular updates/reports helping to increase deliverables quality.
Compiled and submitted quality progress reports, monthly, quarterly and end of project reports and submits them to programs for onward submission to the donor.
Continuous reflection and learning session in the midst of implementation
Photos, success stories documented and shared.
Contribute to development and introduction of innovation to ensure World Vision is continually incorporating best practice approaches in operations.
Stories and media which have got broader coverage (digital and printed, media).
Field financial report reviewed and actions taken timely
Financial procedures complied
Team building, improved staff engagement and enhance AP team performance management
Provide effective human resource management for all staff and volunteers under the project.
Ensure all project staff are recruited, oriented, have valid contracts, performance agreements and project documents.
Hold monthly meetings and quarterly performance review meetings with team members.
Establish consultative and participative management environment that engages and develops project teams, to deliver on donor obligations hence meeting project commitment priorities.
Manage, supervise and build capacity of staff in project development, management and implementation especially in humanitarian emergency response.
Identify staff capacity, psychosocial and other needs, and work with P&C to ensure needs are met
Facilitate coaching, mentoring and counseling sessions for staff within the project.

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
Experience: >8-years professional work experience in INGO in project management, NRM, Livelihoods and microfinance and enterprise development.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification.
MSC/MA in Agricultural Economics, Rural development, and related
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Experience of data collection, collation, analysis, and report writing
Professional, motivated, open, creative, mature, responsible, flexible and, culturally sensitive
Strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure
Excellent verbal and written skills in English
Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets
Track record demonstrating high integrity, innovativeness, creativity, reliability and dependable
Team player, Self-motivator, able to work with limited supervision
Possess the ability to work with different partners, local authorities, local organizations and NGOs, to develop and maintain positive relationships.
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
Office-based with periodic travel to the field
