• Responsible for performing technical activities involving telecom network design and implementation; include survey, installation, commissioning, integration, testing of telecommunications fixed networks.

1. Be responsible the technical solution of the WDM/OTN/Access network implementation, commissioning, configuration and integration.
2.Analyze the problems and challenges of the customer's live network, propose WDM/OTN/access network evolution suggestions based on the industry development trend, and output the target network design.

3. Be able to communicate with WDM/OTN/access technical customers, provide technical guidance and clarification, and present the competitiveness of technical solutions. 4. Risk control and associated communications environments to meet customer telecommunications requirements.

Education and Major requirements

BSC degree in engineering/computer related

Project Experience 

a. Installation, PAT, Commissioning, and integration of WDM/OTN projects and others.

Language Skill

• Fluency at English as working language both Spoken, written & communication

Skills or Certificate Requirements

• Bsc degree or above in Electrical, Telecom Engineering and Computer science, or other Technical field or equivalent education and experience.

• Prior experience Ericsson, Nokia, ZTE, Cisco, HP, ET is preferred.

• Fluency at English as working language both Spoken, written & communication

• Good communication and organizational skills with supervisors and customers.

• Familiar with SDH, ATM, IP principle

• Familiar with engineering implementation for transmission, implementation characteristics and risks in a project.

• Familiarity with the ITU recommendations .Especially standards in Ethiopia.

• Able to work under pressure and good team spirit.

Other requirement

1. Have a basic command of basic WDM/access principles and know the development trend of industry technologies.

2. Have a basic command of WDM/access product knowledge and WDM network design methods.

3. Be familiar with the relevant business processes of the company, Understand cyber security and user privacy protection knowledge. 4. Good communication and organizational skills with supervisors and customers.
