Purpose of the Job:

To support vehicle maintenance activities by fabricating and assembling metal structures, welding pieces, and filling gaps.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

·   Set up machine bodies for welding according to specifications.

·   Weld parts/components using welding tools in various positions.

·   Repair machines or components by welding pieces and filling gaps.

·   Conduct minor disassembly and assembly components for welding.

·   Test and inspect welded surfaces and components to discover defects.

·   Observe tests on welded surfaces to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications.

·   Determine the required welding methods and techniques.

·   Perform complex mechanical installations per engineering direction.

·   Read and comprehend drawings and specifications.

·   Install piping, equipment, and other mechanical systems in compliance with drawings and specifications. 

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

·   Advance Diploma or Level IV in Manufacturing Technology or Metal Engineering Production Management, Welding or related fields with four (4) years of demonstrated experience

Or

Certificate in Level III or Level II in Welding or GMFA or related fields with six (6) years of direct experience in the field preferably COC Certified
