Job Description
The Opportunity
The position holder will be responsible to support the program activities at the Gambella Program Area by organizing adequate acquisition of goods and services provided.
BA Degree in logistics Management, Purchasing/Supplies Management, supply chain management, or related field.
3-5 years of relevant work experience in an INGO environment, involving the procurement of both emergency and development programs
Sound analytical and problem-solving capability;
Ability to influence others’ behavior through effective relationship building; through current knowledge and understanding of relevant policies, frameworks, etc.
In-depth knowledge of project processes, procedures, and systems
Qualifications/Experience Desirable:
Experience in UN Or NGO environment involving in the procurement activities
Experience in emergency procurement is advantageous
Supervisory experience
ERP experience
Languages Required
Fluency in the English language is essential
Safeguarding Children and Young People (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI)
Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), ensuring that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
Ensures that all staff sign safeguarding policies;
Implement Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day-to-day work.
