Contract engineers combine technical knowledge of contracts and legal matters with understanding of engineering specifications and principles. They ensure that both parts are aligned in the development of a project and foresee the compliance of all the engineering specifications and matters as defined in contracts.

Job Requirements

Education:

• BSc (MSc) in Civil Engineering/COTEM from recognized university

General Experience:

• At least 7/6 years for BSC/MSc in construction industry on building/Real Estate sector in related assignments

Specific Experience:

• Minimum of 5/4 years as contract engineer

• Experience in claim/dispute initiation and handling required

• Experience in handling contractual issues independently required 

• Sound experience of various contract forms required particularly on high-rise  building construction and finishing works

• High level of interpreting contracts and analyzing contract documents required

• High level of professional integrity and time management required

• Incumbent shall be ready to work in tight working schedule to complete assigned tasks promptly
