To provide efficient and effective weighbridge operation for the facility by keeping track of goods received and dispached.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

·   Respond to and follow up sales enquiries posted.

·   Monitor and report on dispatch and weighbridge activities and provide relevant management information.

·   Monitor Compliance with all legislation and company regulations.

·   Communicate weighbridge issues with all concerned levels of management.

·   Maintain punctuality at all time.

·   Manage weighbridges run smoothly, accurately and within the appropriate contractual and legal requirements.

·   Interacting with the Finance, Procurement, and Sales team for authorizing invoices and feeding into daily reporting.

·   Updating relevant monthly plans that are required to be updated every month.

·   Control direct traffic coming onto site and operate weighbridge, recording all vehicles entering/ leaving the site.

·   Comply with licensing guidelines and collate monthly data by product type and by customer as part of management information.

·   Ensure that established policies and procedures are followed.

·   Providing Duty of Care for the vehicles entering site.

·   Review, approve and submit reports to relevant organs.

·   Support the development of subordinates through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue and feedback.

·   Manage disciplinary concerns of the unit’s staff.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

·   Bachelor’s degree in Management, Transport Management, Logistics and Supplies Management and related fields with four (4) years of demonstrated experience.
