Our Company SBG industry PLC /Juice Line/ seeks to hire competent, experienced & aspiring applicants to fill the following vacant position.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Understands and agrees with the production manager on the planned volume and quality of production for the given period of time in order to produce high quality of product in the most efficient manner.

• Checks daily the availability of raw materials and inputs at the required quantity and quality.

• Issues various raw materials required for production from the store.

• Supervises and controls each of the production process.

• Checks the availability and readiness of all processing and production machineries and forklifts for smooth operation process.

• Follows up the cleanliness of the processing and production machineries as well as processing and production area.

• Creates awareness to all employees regularly about the production process and safety measures to be taken when necessary.

• Assures that production workers are performing their duties with proper working cloths and good mental and physical fitness

• Maintains formal recording systems for the daily production and checks the handing over of outputs to the finished Goods store though through production Clerk.

• Reports to immediate supervisor or any concerned body if risk or danger arises around the working process as well as working area.

• Coaches, mentors and motivates towards better production.

• Prepare reports and submit to the division.

• Evaluates the performance of employees of the unit periodically.

• Ensure that the targeted output is met;

• Coordinate with technical team in case of a break dawn or if assistance is required such that the machines will operate efficiently.

• Coordinate with the quality department and ensure that the feed and the products confirm to the specification.

• Accounted to report the wastage correctly at the end of each shift.

• Lead and give direction to follow the maintenance team.

• Manage GMP’s throughout the production plant. 

• Control losses and rejects of all finish good and raw materials.

• Adhere and manage disciplinary code of conduct.

• Manage targets of Efficiency and Utilization & work towards set targets.

• Liaise with final finish good warehouse.

• Control and hand over full stock to warehouse daily.

• Perform any other related job when assigned by the production manager/Plant Manager.

Job Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of production, engineering and maintenance activities

• Good organizational skills including the ability to plan, design implement monitor, evaluate and report on projects.

• Good resource (people, finances, asset) management skill

• Good and appropriate technical skills, policy knowledge, and experience in construction of projects and maintenance of activities

• Good communication skills, drive for results, flexibility, efficiency & creative thinking

• Ability to work effectively under stressful condition

• Experience in fuel station construction, follow up and evaluation

• Experience of developing and managing budgets

• Skill in project management

• A high level of computer literacy

Required Education and Experience: - BSc Food Science and Technology & Nutrition, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry and At least four years relevant work experience in juice or CSD production and people management
