Since 2007, PATH has been working to improve health systems and services to create healthier futures for Ethiopians. PATH in Ethiopia is currently implementing various high impact, evidence based, sustainable programs with the aim of saving and improving the lives of the most vulnerable and underserved women and children in the country in collaboration with Ethiopia’s Federal Ministry of Health, Regional Health Bureaus, community groups, and other partners.
PATH has been implementing data driven COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy project in Addis Ababa city administration and Bahir Dar city administration to address COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among the youth group through targeted, tailored, culture, religious and gender sensitive and inclusive SBCC interventions.
PATH is seeking a qualified data analyst (both qualitative and quantitative) and report writer who will support data analysis and final project report write-up. The data analyst and report writer will summarize project activity reports including baseline assessment, support project end assessment data collection, lead data analysis and produce final project end report.
Specific duties and responsibilities:
Summarize project activity reports including baseline assessment.
Support project endline assessment
Lead project endline data analysis
Produce final project report using the baseline assessment, activity reports and project endline assessment data.
Provide cleaned data set (qualitative and quantitative to the project lead
Support project team in writing lesson learned and best practice documentation

Duration of employment: 40 (forty) working days
Qualification and Experience
Master’s degree in health informatics, statistics, data science, public health or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in similar data management practices.
Excellent knowledge of the Ethiopian health system
Outstanding report writing skills with proficiency to work independently with minimal support.
Advanced level data analysis skill, both qualitative and quantitative
Proficiency in common data analyses and visualization tools (e.g., MS Excel, STATA, SPSS, DHIS2)
Knowledge of the routine health information data, specifically surveillance data, vaccine coverage data, and vaccine distribution data.
Strong communication skills and experience working in a highly collaborative environment.
